Envision a community committed to authentic relationships born our of a likeness of mission, a distinct call on their hearts to a peculiar way of life, relationships and ministry - others-centered (Phil 2); compelled to advance Christ's Kingdom through lovingly selfless service. A community that builds relationships with the broken and seeking, those touched but God's hand, touched by the comedy and tragedy of life; stumbling. Bewildered questioners genuinely wondering for what purpose they have been born.... there must be more than this. This will be a community that will go out, serve, love, give, and designed to reach a certain aspect of the culture - of this generation - and community, to serve, not to be served. There are some who are responding to this type of mission and vision - just the mere mention of such a thing and believe that it is time to pray and act.
This is not about a building, it's about building relationships. - a community committed to Christ and His mission - It's about God and His mission, His glory and His praise. It's about finding the lost and setting the captives free …it is about the Church. |
