Foundations of Ministry: ...the church is being built on these foundational principles

Loving God...
  • commitment to the Word of God – adherence to the sound teaching of God's inspired Word for salvation, instruction and transformation of lives into the likeness of Christ James 1:22-25; Psalm19:7-11
  • a proper concept of Christ – knowing Jesus – incarnate, crucified, risen and Lord – who He is as God, Son, Savior, and who we are in Him. Who Jesus is; who we are in Him; who we are to the Father through Him; how He sees us; etc. Hebrews 1:3
  • prayerful dependence – the supernatural connection between God and His children, a tangible practice of the intimate and trusting relationship we have with our Father Luke 11:1-4; 11-13
Loving others as self...
  • an atmosphere of love – a loving community dedicated to building genuine relationships of impact Acts 2:42-47
  • a biblical group image – not merely who we are as a community or organization, but possessing a firm belief, anticipation and confidence of something miraculous – greater then the sum of the parts – as God moves among and through us – an expectancy Acts 2:43-45
  • consistent contacting – corporate networking utilizing small groups and leadership to assure members of their care, belonging and significance
At Mosaic we believe that there are 6 foundational building blocks on which to establish a healthy balanced church. We are committed to assuring that each and every ministry be built on this same foundation. Therefore each ministry will have woven into it's fabric the regular practice of each and all of these essential elements.

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.” All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matthew 22:37-40
